Incident

On 11th of December (~14:30 CET) our team noticed unusual behaviour with Price USD metric. In the past this metric had no offset and was always returning extra datapoint (”recent” / “not finalized”) which mutated during the day. Our team identified this behaviour as bug and decided to fix it on the same day (11th of December ~18:00 CET).

Before (with offset) - Price Metric aligns with metric data (figure 1)

After (no offset) - Price metric has “recent” / “not finalized” datapoint (figure 2)

On 14th of December ~9:40 CET our team made a decision to rollback the fix and bring previous behaviour with Price Metric offset (figure 1).
